Yes, I know, I really suck at blood. I have absolutely no knowledge as of how to draw blood in photoshop. Great with a real paintbrush, but horrid on the computer. What I should have done is drawn in the blood before I scanned it, but I didnt want to freak my family out too badly if they saw it lying on the kitchen counter o.0....Anyone know of a tutorial for how to do blood? I could use it.

Well, I wanted to keep this simple. It isn't a piece of art, its a message, my opinion, my feelings on things. I feel that the best way for evil to be destroyed is if its brought straight out and into the open, raw and disgusting. The pose was 'inspired' (not the good, refreshing kind of inspiration) by a photo on an anti slaughter video of a horse hanging from chains with her limbs hacked off, being drained above a tub. Something from a horror film that happens every day at legal and illegal slaughter houses.
I hate this. Not the art, I love the art, but I hate horse slaughter. I googled it, and was sobbing by the time I looked through two websites. Its disgusting, inhumane, and wrong.
I really like what you did here. This is great.
Keep up the good work.

One of my horses came from a slaughter house, rescued with several seconds left to live. I saved her from this, thank you for all you are doing and those who oppose the slaughter of horses.[link]

I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
